Gable end airbricks are largely a thing of the past these days, mainly because of their restricted capacity and minimal effect on modern, heavily insulated properties. Plus, they are relatively tricky to install when everything’s taken into account.
Soffit vents rarely ventilate much beyond the specific area they are fitted in (eaves boxes, etc.); Any ventilation that does get past the wall-plate is low level stuff and moist warm air rises.
Your roof-space doesn\'t appear to be very large and therefore perhaps as few as two lapVents will cure the problem - they can always be added to later if more ventilation is needed.
My guess though is 4, mounted centrally and spread randomly.
If more help is needed please email digital photos and or rough drawn plans to info@lapvent.co.uk
